This season is all about color! But that doesn't mean you can't wear black and white. Wearing black and white allows you to balance out all these amazing bold and bright colors of spring. Color blocking is still trending too! So combine the two and you will be so fashion forward. The trend was all over the runways this year from Michael Kors, Balmain, Helmut Lang, Altuzarra, Emporio Armani, Lanvin, Roland Mouret, etc. These designer made wearing black white seem fun, chic, and effortlessly stylish. Black and white stripes are also an option to combine the contrasting colors- blazers, jackets, tops, clutches, etc. Try to find different angled stripes too! They don't have to go in the same direction or even be the same size. And with the black and white handbags and oversized clutches designers are adding gold hardware! The combination is genius! Black and white sounds so boring, right!?! But it's not. Just because you are wearing two basic colors doesn't mean you have to wear a white shirt and black pants. Never! Playing with fabrics and textures will make this combo more interesting. For example, African inspired prints were used on the runways...so having bold prints in black and white add some flare. It's also about "geometry" too! The lines of the pieces you chose will make a big different such as asymmetric jackets, high-low skirts, etc. In general black and white is hot this season. You can wear the contrasting colors with your blazers, jackets, dresses, pants, accessories, and more. And remember...if you do wear black and white add a pop of color!

EVA MARCILLE TAPING "TAKING HOLLYWOOD" IN STEVE MADDEN X BABAKUL
Eva and her crew- Denyce Lawton (actress), Nikki Chu (celeb interior designer) and Kelly Marie Dunn (talent manager) were spotted in LA taping scenes for the show. Eva rocked a Babakul Evana Boatneck Tunic, some Fendi Spring/Summer 2011 "W" sunglasses, oversized hoops, neon orange nail polish, some dope rings, and Steve Madden 'Winonna' Wedge Sandal ($99.95). It's so funny that Eva is rockin these wedges because my girl Tiffanie just asked me about styling hers...she has the same exact pair. And look how affordable they are! Amazing. I'm not really feeling this look at all but I have styled a look inspired by Eva's sweater dress and wedges.
RIHANNA'S BOY LONDON HAT
This blog almost turned into a Rihanna fan page, right!?! Lol. Rihanna has been in London for a minute and she's been in the press like crazy...basically from her style of dress. Since she touched down in London it's like she went into an 80s time machine. With the jean jackets, baggy jeans, sneakers, and most importantly the hats! I really love Rihanna but some things are questionable. Like I'm so convinced that she's wearing the hats to cover up her crazy hair style.

Cassie and her Suga Daddy, Diddy are both in Paris for Fashion Week. What a perfect city for the love birds and especially the right scene for the fashion forward Cassie! I will highlight lots of trends for the upcoming season but I want to point out that the masculine look for women is still in! And Cassie is definitely rocking the trend. She looked amazing as usual rocking a Helmut Lang Era Collar Detail blazer ($645), white button up, Rag & Bone Feather print leggings ($125), some dope BE & D "Big City" Sneakers, edgy sunglasses and an amazing Alexander McQueen Snake and Horn Skull Clutch ($1,995).

Lil' Kim is at it again. Recently she's been making public appearances and has everyone talking again...talking about Kim instead of the Kim and Nicki beef. She's honestly been working and trying to focus on her. According to necolebitchie.com she took to the stage at BET's Rip the Runway and performed some of her classic hits. She rocked a pair of Michael Antonio Lavonne Pumps in yellow. The shoe has a 2 inch platform and is a total of 5 1/2 inches tall with amazing cut outs and a tasseled back zipper. She paired the amazing pumps with a black sequinned jumpsuit with sheer panelling. Kim accessorized her total look with some gold jewelry. I've found the Michael Antonio pumps online for $125. So they are affordable for the average girl!

She actually rocked a dress from Forever21. A dress that pretty much any girl can purchase and rock. It's their Mod Colorblock Mesh dress. CASSIE'S OUTFIT FOR HER "KING OF HEARTS" SINGLE
Cassie recently hosted her official "King of Hearts" party at SL in New York city. She partied with Diddy, French Montana, and Funkmaster Flex. When arriving she layered a fur scarf, a denim jacket, and leather vest with some leather pants, a plaid shirt around her waist, and a Alice Cooper t-shirt. The way she layered this outfit makes it look like she had wardrobe changes during the party. While inside SL she took a few layers off and rocked the tee, leather pants, and fur scarf (she eventually took the fur off too).

Whoa! I'm so impressed by J.Hud's weight loss. She looks really good. So good that I totally forgot what she used to look like. I had to google her to remember. And when I did google her I found this amazing picture of her. It also made me realize she can dress her butt off! I'm really feeling all of her looks these days. I had to recreate this color blocking outfit which is perfect for spring and summer. The colors are not really Spring/Summer colors but it works.
