www.topshop.com! Florals are worn from head to toes and they can also be used to mix prints as well. So you should definitely have a few floral pieces in your wardrobe for seasons to come!
White is really flattering for fall/winter...which makes sense because the saying, "winter whites". Rocking all white everything is very similar to wearing all black...little white dresses, white pants suits, pencil skirts, etc. There's really no wrong way to rock this trend but please make sure your whites match! Some whites are brighter than others, more creamy than others, etc. And just like all black- make sure to add a pop of color!
Cable knit sweaters, tweed, plaids, etc are all perfect for the upcoming season. They are heavier material and aren't as girly as most pieces but this season they are used in a more feminine way. Add a cable knit sweater with a long flowy maxi skirt. Add a fitted pencil skirt to show off your figure with a tweed asymmetric blazer. And finally, I paired a plaid coat with some super skinny jeans and knee high boots! Adding girly things to these more hard pieces balances everything out.
Just like rocking the heavier materials like plaid, tweed, and sweaters- rocking military inspired pieces requires an extra girly approach. This trend has been around for a few seasons but it seems to be getting more feminine each time. Whenever I rock the trend I like to go all out from head to toe- a military blazer, leggings, knee high boots, etc. You can rock the trend with just about anything- pants, leggings, skirts, shorts, etc. Check out a few looks below.
A girl's best friend- BLACK! Black is so sexy, slimming, and stylish! And although I normally say add a pop of color- several designers literally rocked all black everything! And this trend is very appealing. Although its all one color you can add spark by the fit, texture, and style. For example, notice the sheer top, leather pants, patent leather bags, geometric earrings, pointed shoulders, snakeskin clutch, and studded sandals. There are so many ways to make a simple color more interesting.
OMG! We can all agree that color blocking has been the most exciting trend in a long time! Most trends just repeat themselves but this trend, whether our parents rocked it back in the day or not- it went to new levels these past few seasons. Its such an easy trend and its almost impossible to mess up! Well, I'm pleased to announce this trend is here to stay! If you think its played out designers added another trend to this mix- mixing prints. Mixing prints is a very hard trend to master, I must say! Its very challenging. Now designers are combining the two. Color blocking and mixing prints is so dope this season. Think you can do it!?! Check out a few looks I created below.
I kinda posted about this trend already...because Lala Anthony is so ahead of the game. She recently rocked Top Shop Union Jack sweaters (3rd look below). I know yall rocked a lot printed tees this summer, right!?! The trend is so dope. And you can continue to rock those tees and just add a blazer or cardigan...and the other option is cop a few graphic sweaters! Again, its all about PRINT this season in so many ways.
