Believe it or not you can do more than “work” in a business setting; ladies you can “WERK IT” when it comes to business attire. Trust me… looking your best at work will give you a professional image as well as confidence out of this world- that will only enhance your performance at work! So please don’t rotate the same ol’ khakis! Put some time into your wardrobe- the possibilities are endless!

Business attire is very simple and classy! You will only need a few pieces to complete your wardrobe. Having the right pieces will allow you to create limitless combinations that will have people thinking you never wear anything twice! Some basic staples you will need are a pants suit, pencil skirt suit, pencil skirts, slacks, blazers, blouses, button up dress shirts, pumps, flats, bags, and simple jewelry. The only colors you will need for each piece are black, brown, tan, white, and gray. That sounds boring but you can get any color blouse for a pop of color! You can add a few dresses to your wardrobe as well, but it's not neccessary. Another area that will make your business attire pop is your shoe game! Of course you aren't going to wear your "f*** me shoes" to work but you can go a little wild in this area. Finally, accessories will take your wardrobe to new levels- your bag, brief case, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. These are simple rules of fashion and they apply to business attire too! Another rule to remember is seasonal rules of fashion do not apply to business attire- mainly because you are going to be in an office all year round in air conditioning! You can dress for a beautiful spring day all year 'round! Of course in the winter you will need to add tights, boots, and coats to your wardrobe, but that's about it! You should have a blazer in each of following colors: black, brown, tan, white, and gray.

You can have blouses in any color- I would chose brighter colors to add a pop of color to your outfit.

Button Ups will be your best friend because you will wear these under your business suits!

Button ups are essential to business attire. To make these more fashionable you should have pleating, bows, ruffles, etc. Of course you can have some plain ones too!

The basic colors should be the same as your blazers; you can get pant is all types of shapes: regular, boot cut, wide leg, skinny, etc.

Pencil skirts are so sexy! But at the same time if you have wore one pencil skirt you have wore them all! So to make this piece more interesting play with the style such as pleating, wraps, belts and bows which create a differnt shape.

Dresses arent' neccessary but you can add them to your wardrobe! Just make sure they are appropriate- lenghth, fit, and color.

You should have a pair of black, brown, nude, and red pumps. Flats are another option but make sure they are dressy enough. Patent leather ones look more stylish!

You should have a brown and black bag; and also another bright color one that will make your all black suits look good!

Always have both gold, silver and pearl jewelry that will compliment all your clothing!
